ICSA Review:
Heaven Without Her (A Desparate Daughter's Search for the Heart of Her Mother's Faith) is the personal story of Ms. Kitty Foth-Regner as she reflects on her journey through life starting from her teenage years and into her adult years. She goes from dedicated atheist to dedicated Christian. If you're looking for a scientific and detailed book on the veracity of creation over macro-evolution, this is not the book you should be considering. However, if you're looking for a personal story of how one person went from being a strong atheist to accepting Christ as her Lord and Savior, then this IS a great story in a great book. Her story covers her successes and struggles in her life not just with her parents (primarily her Mom in the story) but also her classmates, friends, husband, co-workers and others. She instinctively reviews and considers the major religions of the world including Buddhism, Islam, New Age Movement and others. In comparing, contrasting and reviewing these with Christianity she states "Jesus Christ had died. And Jesus Christ is risen." The book is very easy to read and very enlightening.
